I think the vaccine has a very little impact on limiting spread of omicron but is still brilliant at minimising severe disease. That may change when we get an omicron vaccine if needed or hopefully one day a universal coronavirus vaccine.

You were also warned that there was no long term data on the vaccines, not that 6 months is even "long term" and yet the efficacy has already disappeared.

Me and my boss got covid around about the same time pre vaccine we are both soldiers ,it hardly affected me ,headache and fatigue that’s it he suffered quite badly headaches fatigue etc but it hit his chest and lungs and his fitness suffered for a while but it came back there is 4 years between us , I don’t get colds very often but when I do it’s a day or two where as my wife and daughter it lasts a lot longer , no one infection will affect two people exactly the same |  | | |

How many children died of diphtheria in the UK in 2021?
Add other previously common childhood diseases to that.
