again you are rewritting history whilst the first set of buyers were presented to the Trust the current owners were not with tales of dont worry about the Trust and then dodgy dealings regarding shareholder agreements, fictional board meetings.....

Personally I have no stance over the Trust....
A great concept but it was marginalised and as a result it finds itself where it is today....without the Trust possibly those you keep praising may never had had the opportunity to do what they did.

I am greateful for thier intercession but the manner of the sale is what leaves a bad taste in my mouth....

Whil;st yes you can quote these players why is it we have to go outside of the club to fill our team?

I understand we need to sell some players to keep us going but surely by now we should have a team the majoruty of which has come through our acadamy like the class of 92 at United.

Not good is it. Sad. I listen to the second tier podcast and one of their presenters is a derby fan and I know its very slanted but you do get a sense of what a mess it is from a fans perspective.

Just hope there's a resolution but I'm doubtful

I almost got sucked in!

IT is looking bleak and I agree with Badlands...its a shame we couldnt have made the final push and got promoted last season whilst I suspect we would hqave come straight back down it would have enabled to get some more monies and then parachute payments to help grow and get back up

I have enough concnersn surrounding the "non debt" debt we have already without gambling more monies...rather us stay mid table ..but then again maybe we should be doing better with what we have..but back on target lets hope we dont end up like this or as I have already said I doubt we will be so lucky a third time

It was Man U that played the Benefit game not Liverpool. Liverpool wrote off money owed to them.

Indeed which is is we should be very grateful to them

Trust in the owners. They are a difference class to previous owners. They have a 20 year track record of success and brought in US money with no leverage and no strings attached. Burnley FC have to pay off £70m of debt the new owners took to buy the club.

Swansea have no debt. The CLN will be used to buy new shares so Winter does not have to pay it back. The money will be recovered when and only when the club is sold. Swansea will be above Burnley in the near future. The Burnley sellers were not as conscientious as the Swansea sellers.

Be careful you might end up coming to the conclusion that the fake narratives promoted on this platform (under previous management) in particular do not stack up. Its like eating cabbage.

Derby are being given a fighting chance but it shows what a terrible position the owners have put the club in.

Could be a very interesting final fixture, at home to Cardiff!

The Derby fans I know are pretty arrogant about how big a club they are.

Up their with Basseys regarding delusions of grandeur.
