| Who else like me is enjoying this season on 12:38 - Apr 10 by STID2017 | Strange one. Like every club, more supporters don't go than do. No doubt there are many just in Swansea who due t illness, infirmity, work, family commitments don't go. Then add the many who cannot go due to geographical reasons. Overall it has been an enjoyable season so far, although like all seasons ( even the early EPL years) that are games we all rather forget. Painful is overstating it. For painful read Barnsley, Derby or Peterborough. Or Scunthorpe maybe |
They are performing in line with their squad talent, I doubt it’s that painful. I loved it in the lower leagues when our team was rubbish and we were scrapping for anything we could get. It’s a big difference between performing poorly when you are poor, and performing poorly when your squad is excellent.

| Who else like me is enjoying this season on 13:30 - Apr 10 with 807 views | KeithHaynes | I’ve enjoyed the transition from day one tbh. With all the rough and smooth that comes with it, and there will be much more. | |

| Who else like me is enjoying this season on 13:37 - Apr 10 with 804 views | RichardO | I prefer fact that we try to be press the game higher up the park to regain possession this season and it must be successful given the stats but have been frustrated at the fact we haven't been able to convert that to winning games given the poor defence, the defence is looking more cohesive and are growing in confidence, from that change we are pushing forward with more purposed and it has been enjoyable of late. Better late than never there have been signs early in the season but we failed to push on. Edited because I read the thread title wrongly. [Post edited 10 Apr 2022 14:32]

Fisher (24) Lati (22) Cabango (21) Downes (22) Obafemi (21) Piroe (22) I have hopes for Cooper B and O (21) and Garrick (23) . Let Whittaker, Cullen, Williams get 100 games then review twist or stick.

How could it, he is finally getting the players playing the kind of football many of us said they should be playing with their skill levels. They still resort to too much Martinball around our penalty creating (gifting) too many chances to our opposition which fortunately they have not been taking most of the time. Some of that is down to our brilliant last ditch, body on the line defending and some down to them not having their shooting boots on. This new more quickly attacking football is far more enjoyable than 80% possession with hardly any shots. Don't you agree?

| Who else like me is enjoying this season on 12:42 - Apr 10 by Dr_Parnassus | How would you possibly know that? The minority of Swansea fans attend, and they seem split with regards to the season. Not about seeing the worst, we are the lowest we have been in over a decade. It’s simply what it is. |
Lowest in a decade ? We could still finish in the top 6, and even if we dont manage that, we are currently 11th and in good form,. Potter's team finished 10th? There is a very good chance we could finish higher than 10th. At least wait until the season finishes before you issue that judgement

| Who else like me is enjoying this season on 16:47 - Apr 10 with 694 views | cadleigh | Most of this season I have simply felt numb watching the Swans. Never had that sensation before. There were many times under previous managers when I felt frustrated, angry, bored even - but I always felt something. From quite an early stage this season it’s felt like an out of body experience. The odd flicker of enjoyment in the Cardiff matches and the early season cup matches, and appreciation for the skill of individual players, but that’s it. And this started before my concerns about Martin really developed. It’s odd, but I have heard other people say similar things. Really hoping it’s temporary! I’m very happy for those who enjoy Martin’s brand of football, but it’s not for me. | |

There you go. Dr p has nailed his colours to the mast. Dr p ego couldn’t take being proved wrong, so he’ll definitely want us to finish below 10th.

And that is part of it. The best it about being a Swansea fan in my opinion, is being lucky enough to go and watch them play.

Re Scunthorpe. If it isn't painful why did their fans protest yesterday and why is their chairman standing down ? As for the bottom three in our division, it doubt their fans have enjoyed this season. As for us, overall enjoyed much of this season.

That often happens with elderly people. They lose their mojo.
| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

| Who else like me is enjoying this season on 19:55 - Apr 10 with 592 views | magicdaps10 | It's been an interesting season for sure, I realised that I would need patience but I have learned a lot this season in relation to where we are as a club, what is expected of us and the new process at hand to re develop a style to become that breath of fresh air again. I wouldn't say I have enjoyed the season but enjoyed watching the players become comfortable with the ball and passing it. I am at this moment more excited with what we can do going forward given the plan now seems to bearing fruit after such a big turnaround in style and players. The next thing is the summer, players will leave but we have to make sure we only accept bids for players that we either don't need or won't effect the dynamics of the team....A full summer with a dedicated management team with a pre season will give us a better chance and we can hit the road running. | |

Don't have a glasshouse son. Yes we are joint 12th which is still top half. Perhaps if you prefer Cooper so much that you use how he is doing to belittle our club's achievements you should be a Forest supporter ( when you aren't watching Manure that is )
