If there is one thing I’ve learned about Martin is that his image, or more specifically how he is perceived, is of utmost importance to him.
Pretending he is some in demand manager publicly does not shock me in the slightest. From all other managers telling him how difficult his tactics are to play against (even though most had no trouble beating them), to his repetitive “dominance” spiel, to his refusal to take questions on his tactics.
It’s all about the show. I can’t listen to him for longer than 2 mins.
I really am looking forward to the next era, whenever that may be. This period we are in just seems like wasted time.

The shelf life of Swansea manager is under 2 years. Good managers bad manager average managers its 2 years not a day more*. I do not see an scenario where anyone can stay at Swsnsea for over 24 months. This was the Roberto / Brendan / Cooper period.
It does not matter if you get promoted, relegated mid table it make no difference.
* Cooper who's job was not finished agreed to stay on for a few weeks. Why did he leave? Grimes was not sold Piroe and Obafemi arrived. It is the two year itch. Nothing can be done about it. |  |
