Tuchel has proven himself as one of the best coaches around, his stock will remain high. Anyone that goes to Chelsea will know how it worked there with the previous ownership. It looks like a poor start to the season, losing the changing room & disagreeing with the new owners about buying Ronaldo was too much. He won’t be short of job offers.

It's carzy ruthless. 3 defeats on the bounce is all. It also shows how patient we have been with Martin but then, we cannot afford to sack managers willy nilly.
I think Potter could do a good job there, looking at what he managed with Brighton. His big problem, as it is at all the really big clubs, is the big time charlie, proper top end players. Some of them are almost literally unstoppable, loved by the fans, viewed as massive assets by owners (certainly bigger assets than the manager) and they wield too much power.
Look at the problems that seem to follow Pogba around. Always rumours of dressing room unrest. | |
