| Wales v Iran : Match Day Thread 05:36 - Nov 22 with 10389 views | KeithHaynes | Wales 0 Iran 2 : That’s surely it folks 25th Nov 2022 20:23Ever since the qualification for this tournament Wales haven’t looked the full ticket. A nations league campaign was flawed albeit against better opposition. Now seven games after that qualification night in June the distress signals are there. The older players are no longer carrying the spark of old, and the younger players have lost their way over the past five months. 2

| Wales v Iran : Match Day Thread on 17:21 - Nov 22 by raynor94 | How about the French and the Germans |
The Germans and French are not in our group, England are in our group and they have better scheduled kick off times as they don't play the just after midday fixture in the group, I'm massive on fairness always have been and it puts us at a slight disadvantage which could be the difference between qualifying or not. Both France and Germany out of interest just like England don't play the just after midday fixture either.

Brazil won in 1970, every South American qualifier made at least the Quarter finals that year, Argentina won in 1986 both of them finals were held in Mexico. Brazil also won in USA and Japan and Spain won in South Africa.

| Wales v Iran : Match Day Thread on 10:56 - Nov 22 by Boundy | IMO there's no way we'll emulate Englands score v Iran ,a win for us yes anthilate no , with Bale & Ramsey out of sorts and James pretty much a non entity yesterday then a bit of magic by Moore should see us through on Friday .If it goes down to goal difference how many will be cheering England on when they play the US . |
Ideal situation would be we beat Iran, USA beat England then we beat them in the last game sending them home. 👠

I'm hoping we beat Iran and England beat USA and hopefully goal difference will get us through. Anything else would be a massive bonus.
| Wales v Iran : Match Day Thread on 09:10 - Nov 23 with 1715 views | trampie | I'm wondering if people are starting to twig, there is a reasonable possibility that both Wales and the USA will beat Iran and lose to England meaning it will come down to goal difference, we going to be playing Iran in the day time heat the USA are going to be playing them 10pm at night, the day time heat could lead to walking pace football and a low scoring game. | |

Trampie. Give it up son. We could have been drawn away in the playoffs. We could be in a group with two giants. We’re not going to get the rub of the green every time.

Wales have had the heated ball fall in their favour this tournament. It is 32 teams for starters. If FIFA have fixed anything Mr Drakeford should send them a bottle of Penderyn's finest. Page was timid and got his game plan horribly wrong. The US captain told him t was Moore they were afraid of not Bale. The team sang the anthem 100% than shirked their real job. The first half performance was close to disgraceful. First tournament in 64 years mean 100% form the bell and use substitutes when players tire. Bale will need to pull something out again. He is on his last legs It is pure will. Win this game then park the bus next week.

To that end he is expected to feature tomorrow in the crucial Group B World Cup clash with Iran. Talking to a friendly journalist with close ties to the Welsh camp we anticipate him starting on the bench and if the tie goes Wales way an appearance in the second half. 0
