| 3.75 million for Obafemi on 13:27 - Jan 15 by Whiterockin | Ogbene + £2m is a good bit of business. They want £1M Ogbene so this equals £2.75M. Plus we will not pay £1M for Ogbene. |
Yes 'Ched' Ogbene + £2.75m is even better business. This is the way to think about it. "wheeling and dealing". Pay the £1m. Ogbene is worth £1m with 6 months on his contract and £3m with 3 years on his contract. [Post edited 15 Jan 2023 15:13]

I would imagine the 3.75 inc add ons. I won’t go in to what they might be 😂

Or he’d kick someone while they’re on the floor before running away and writing a book about how hard he is.

It should work both ways which is the point I am making. If Martin can get a player he wants for a player for he does not want plus cash then crack on and do not worry too much about valuations.

| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

| 3.75 million for Obafemi on 19:04 - Jan 15 with 996 views | SullutaCreturned | The WOl is saying we have turned down 2.5 million and are demanding 3 million. I guess if the deal goes through we'll find out the true fee. All things considered I'd be chuffed with 3.75. We need rid of him, he's a bad penny. | | | |

| 3.75 million for Obafemi on 13:23 - Jan 15 by heatwave | Great bit of business methinks. Burnley go up. He'll have a face on next season when he's not picked and Wieghorst comes back from a loan. He will be loaned out to a championship side. Start again Michael. |
That may be the case, but it’s likely to be loaned out to a Championship side whilstvearning a much higher salary. Once a players head is turned, it’s difficult to get them on side again. [Post edited 15 Jan 2023 19:51]

If it frees up funds for some incomings lets get it done currently he is sat on the sidelines and we are paying his wages with no return

I don't wish him any ill health, but I wouldn't unhappy if his footballing career went tits up, in fact I hope it does.

And in that post alone you have explained why net spend is irrelevant. If you can upgrade a player and receive surplus cash, why would that have a negative impact on the squad? The short answer is of course - it doesn’t.

| 3.75 million for Obafemi on 02:54 - Jan 16 with 556 views | RichardO | Poor first touch has let him down with us, made good runs off the shoulders of defenders but not played the ball quick enough and into the right position allowing him time to control and letting his pace cause defenders problems. He has enough qualities for this division if played in the correct way but if we are not utilising properly and he cannot fit into the team to his satisfaction then take the money. Hopefully we can then use and not sell Whittaker a player with a better first touch and enough pace that could compliment Piroe. | | | |
