However, having served in the military and knowing that thousands of Welsh people have died for this country I think the idea is perfectly ok. The majority of people in this once-great country welcome controlled, vetted migration - the kind where people come here to work, contribute, integrate, and build a better life for themselves and their families while strengthening the nation as a whole.
What people reject is the unchecked flow of thousands of young, fighting-age men with no proper vetting - no clear records of where they’ve come from, why they’re entering the UK, or what criminal history they may be bringing with them.
