There's a decent argument for raising the basic rate of income tax to kick in at £15,000 and adjusting the higher rate bands and NI thresholds accordingly to balance the books.
I note the the IMF says that we are at 'peak tax' further taxation with reduced the tax take in the UK, and our property taxes are now the highest in the developed World.
The trouble is we are run by solely by career politicians none of which have ever run a business and had to find ways to generate money rather than just spend it.
Never mind let's give money to Russia so they can attack Ukraine and we can spend more money on weapons to give to Ukraine. It's a never ending loop funded by the UK taxpayer.Thats the level we are dealing with. |  |
