Correct me if I'm wrong.
The only concrete part of this story is that he's turned down the offer of a new contract. Which he is more than entitled to do. He still has 2 years plus an extended year option.
The media are making out there is interest in his services elsewhere.
He had two good seasons at Orient. Was he that outstanding? I say that because other than being on our radar I never really heard much about him.
He's had a more than decent season here but was he missed after his injury?

Is he greedy and why should he be grateful. We have tried to get him to sign a new contract within his first season, he hasn't asked for one. One could say we slipped up originally with the buyout. When he signed for us several other clubs were interested, so why is he ungrateful. He knows what offers are available to him and he will accept one formally when they meet the buyout in 2 weeks time. Not greedy and not ungrateful in my opinion, its just we under valued him when he signed, remember he is an ex Manchester United player and League One player of the season. | | | |

I read this interesting point today and it may be relevant although not officially agreed by both clubs. Is tapping up allowed now? Could Galbraith have agreed a deal with a club and just waiting for the 15th for it to be formally submitted?

You could be talking about a minimum price any potential buyer would need to offer to force the club to release the player from his contact. This may be lower than the club would like but the club agreed it only 12 months ago. What was it £5m £10m.?
