Would be a hell of a signing, biggest for a while.

Really doesn’t get much better at the Swans level.

Big money being talked again. Surely not ?

Would expect one or two more outgoings on top of Cullen to pay for it. Ronald and one other?

Cooper £500K ?

😂 can’t see that happening.

He’s definitely going to talk to the Swans but still feel there’s bigger clubs with bigger salary pay scales that will get him.

Cooper £500K ?

Maybe four sales altogether then.

Ronald - £2m. Cooper £0.5m. Cullen £1m. Eom/Inoussa £3m?

Or one Vipi for £15m+.

A number of clubs linked including Leeds, Palace, Hull and Wrexham.

Not a likely one at all.

We've got to go back to the Tosh approach with prospective signings -
Take them for a little walk along one of our beautiful Gower beaches then back to the office to complete the signing.
Simple.

He's being likened to being in the Morgan Gibbs-White mould of midfielders.

Used to fly them in to avoid the M4 at Port Talbot and High Street Train Station. The plane would circle the Gower beaches before landing. Sell the sizzle, not the sausage!

" After having a conversation this morning with his club Charleroi , Yacine Titraoui has refused to join Olympiacos FC . The Algerian isn't convinced by the project that was proposed to him .

Swansea City are still in the running."

some of the comments are quite funny one guy saying Why would he vegetate at the bottom of the EPL when he could play champions league ? Perhaps its because he will return To Belgium after 2 years there and be snapped up by a a top PL club .

I think we have to be honest that this guy seems to be a tad out of our league.

For me another Jamestown Analytics recommendation.

Suppose now it depends on what Jamestown’s deal is with the Swans on assisting transfers and prospective sell on clauses for them if he moves on.

Yes union jack but just the type of player we will need if we REALLY want to be in the mix

No argument there but are we an attractive enough proposition both financially and on-the-pitch to attract such a player especially when other clubs can possibly offer more of both?

And if we did manage to get him by including a relatively low sell on clause then if he does well here he’ll be off after a year which is not much different to a loan. That’s very disruptive.

Yes, but that means all the new additions gelling from day 1 to make a sustained attack on top 3 or 6 or 8. It takes time ordinarily so would require a great amount of work from coaching staff and players plus a huge amount of luck for that to happen.

I’m not being negative for the sake of it. It’s just what I feel is the reality of the situation.

Are the new signings a little more experienced than the new ones last season, will Matos start the season playing most who were available last season and introduce the new ones when he feels they have integrated sufficiently. A Prospect of starting well and improving steadily through the season?

Having said that who knows who will be gone by the close of the xfer window?

This time last season the majority of us were exited at the new signings. Two months later we were in a relegation battle, temper any optimism.

Beat me to it. A clever player/agent would have a year in the championship playing every week rather than go to a Leeds or a palace and be in and out of the team potentially battling relegation. A sell on clause to a top half prem team and everyone’s a winner.

But if promoted, he’d already be at a premier league club who could in all probability offer improved terms and exposure
