Heard this on Talksport last night, think 300 million squid was mentioned.

This is probably going to result in another splashing of the cash and the agents and players fat wallets will be bulging even more.

Previously offered £2 billion for Liverpool but 'The Press Association reported last year that the offer "did not get past the vetting stage because it was deemed neither credible nor worthy of being put to the ownership.".
Interesting.
If it goes ahead it's great news for the barcodes but is good for football in the UK?

They've had a billionaire at the helm for the past god knows how many years, that's worked out well for them hasn't it? Also, don't forget Malaga's experience. It doesn't always work out when middle easterners come along. So let's not jump the gun.

If only there was such a vetting stage when we sold out to a hedge fund with the sell outs showing a total disregard for the future of our club just to line their own pockets.
They couldn't bail out quick enough.

Abramovic and Srivaddhanaprabha are unusual Arabic names. All I'm saying is that they've already had a billionaire - probably the second richest owner in the Premier League when he took over in 2007 - and it hasn't quite worked out as many of their fans had hoped.
