It appears that the Russian money has gone to support the parties who are pro Brexit, I wonder if that has anything to do with trying to derail EU membership and the Anti Tax Avoidance legislation the EU are introducing. 
They way some of the wealth in Russia has ended up in individuals bank accounts I don’t think there’s great adherence to socialist principles. Same in a China. | | | |

It has been widely reported, over the last couple of years, that Russian banks have been giving loans to left AND right wing groups throughout Europe... One of these banks is VERY closely aligned with Putin. Putin's allies have invested/spent a lot of money in/for the Tories - known fact.
