Random tidbit about Collins is that he's a avid collector/historian on the subject of the Battle of the Alamo. He wrote a book about it; and a few years ago, he donated a bunch of artifacts and was named an honorary Texan for it.

Got a few of his solo albums but don't listen to them much nowadays.
Funnily enough though, as part of my Rolling Stone Top 500 Albums project, a CD I bought again recently after having it on vinyl back in the day and losing it is Genesis - Selling England By The Pound.
As an unreconstructed prog rocker, I'm loving it. One of the seminal albums from the golden era. The musicianship is phenomenal, not least the drumming of Mr Collins.

I should have felt this coming, it was in the air tonight. Do you remember a groovy kind of love with strangers like me. But against all odds take me home for one more night and another day in Paradise. If leaving me is easy I missed again so I don't care anymore.

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?
