I doubt many of them are ‘Cooper’ signings (excluding the younger players on loan from PL teams) and expect that to be the case with whoever comes next, whenever that may be.
Appreciate he’ll have a say, but expect it’s more around the way he wants to play and the type of player he needs for that. I’m sure Scott and his recruitment team will narrow it down to individual players.
There was a very good chance Cooper wouldn’t be here by now. I’m not sure the fee has been disclosed, but if it’s around the £1m mark. It’s a significant outlay by our standards.

People are currently seeing what they want to see. It's so strange to have a portion of our fans so clearly against the manager of our club who has not once had a season outside the play-offs.
I can respect the opinions of those that want to play a more appealing style, I can respect the opinions of those that don't like his personality for whatever reason. Cooper was coach of England u17. He would not be checking th form of 25 year old Jamiacan Lowe for Portsmouth or Wigan. Cooper like many before him is allowed to make his picks on loan or permanently (Brewster, Surridge Woodman, Gallagher Gibbs White Latibaeudiere Piroe?) , but the rest is the remit of the recruitment team that have to sell him their choices. Manning, Lowe, Bennett Smith Joseph etc.
Clearly some like Arriola and Freeman did not impress Cooper. Other like Garrick, Brandon and Ollie Cooper , Cullen and Benda have work to do to convince Cooper they can play in the Championship. |  |

For me the Piroe signing is clearly Coopers idea. As is Walsh. However, the club know he has an eye for a player, that’s a fact. Whether this means they are supporting him or not, or going ahead regardless of what he does in the future is pure speculation.

He has tracked these players for two years, both Piroe and Walsh have mentioned it, I see that as Cooper getting the players he wants. Some people do get the articles on here as an opinion, not as a storyline, not all the time though. My view is as it always was, Coopers stock is at its lowest, but as we all know a few wins and all is forgiven, but then a few losses ? | |
