I manage to get mine out at 7am, it wasn't too bad here then.

The weather has eased off a lot here and my wife managed to get him out at 5.30. I'd gone on a rather important errand.

But yes, they are incredible.

Apart from when he's been ill our boy hasn't made a mess in the house since he was 8 months old, that's nearly 12 years and he's only been sick twice in all that time. I've made more mess than him!!

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

Been out twice today albeit shorter walks than the norm , my pooch didn't mind it, myself a different matter but if he hadn't gone he'd have been literally climbing the walls ( a definite creature of habit)

Chester was really anxious yesterday evening, very unsettled pacing about the house, read the attached which explains why.

There's something about dogs regarding having a sixth-sense ability. Or at the very least being super-aware or having superb time perception.

The number of times people have told me about their dogs ability to know a certain time period during the day. The way some take up a watching/waiting position at the window, front room, door etc shortly before a loved ones return from work etc. Ditto when they start to play up when its that certain time to go for a walk.

Its always amazed me that my 3 know when its Monday as the routine changes and they go for a walk in the afternoon, not the morning. They absolutely know when its Monday and barely open an eye, the rest of the week they go nuts.

It’s at the top end. Most seem to be advertised around here for 1.5k. The wife is always looking at dogs.

All the usual caveats-seeing the parents, where they have been bred etc., no meeting in a car park but I am sure you know all that.

I have been working part time for 3 months, my boy doesn't budge on the days I'm not up early (very early, 2 am) but when I due to be up he's at the bottom of the stairs waiting for me. On the other days I come down and he's still asleep on the sofa.

He's always up and at my knee giving me "the look" at 12 and at 5pm which is his food time.

More change for him soon because I'm going full time but he always adapts.

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

Paul.
In Llanymynech.
KC breeder.
We are contacting today with a view to a viewing,so to speak.
Other is in Bridgnorth. Pool hall labradors

If we get one we will use Sandersons.

I did so want a Malinois but accept it might be too much for us. Rhiannon s is unbelievably impressive but it is now 6 years old although it has a very dubious off switch. With my being 72 now it makes me think that if I live a decent amount of years that exercising a Mali at 75 ,say,at 6.39 in the morning, every morning, even after a Swans defeat, might be irritating .

Watch out for the changes to the A483/A49 roundabout at Oswestry if heading down.

Would depend on the pedigree, make sure both parents have been health tested.

Very long KC pedigree on both Sire and Dam.
Not slagging off Wales but going to north Yorks to see some new pups
Still feel a little craven over turning down a Malinois but we were reflecting on our daughter's Mali and what a maniac it was for its first 3 years. We once walked it 12 miles but on our return she (the dog) got up and picked up her frisbee for more action. Malis dont seem to have an off switch.

You wont' be burgled though.

Afraid it doesn't work like that, they are normally one or the other, good owners of Show Labradors would never cross with Field trial Labradors.

You've got Ftch (Field trial champions) and S ch (Show champion)
