2 + 2 = 4. Marsch would understand the US guys philosophy and CT understands the club and fans and academy.
I believe the owners want to see how Russ reacts to a perceived injustice and notional adversity. Saftey is in the bag just about. "Show us what ya got" time.
I believe Russ could have innovated more and tried Joseph or Garrick as RWB. Russ likes big transfer windows with 5-6 in and 5-6 out this gives him even more transition time for bedding in. |  |

He hasn’t got the best out of the squad/loanees he’s has here, has shot young players confidence, has less defensive nous than Martinez, wasted money on most of his buys from MK Dons, thrown away loads of points from winning position & he looks like he dyes his hair.

I have a concept of this notional adversity being the making of the football man. Somewhat romantic of course. Mid table nothingness for the whole of his career heading nowhere in a particular this season after 18 months of little change. Inspiration mixed with incompetence.
Now faced with no quick fixes and little or no risk of relegation he will have to work his resources. Jason L would call it "sweat the assets". This requires adaptation and flexibility. Perhaps a inspired non contract signing, change in captaincy, try Webb out give Congreve Wasiri a run. ? | |
