Me and my mates back in the day had Youth Clubs , open park areas to kick a ball about and importantly , even to this day 50 years later , true trust and friendship in our growing up as kids , respect for our neighbours was drilled into our upbringing .

If you want to be honest about it, growing up in Swansea was the vetch, gigs, parks, bongs, Breaker and strongbow. Then when you left school Martha's the pit or Neptunes./cindarellas and any service station you could tag onto the rave convoy. Pheonix festival Glastonbury and Reading (no tickets needed) a fortnight in Tenerife or a weekend in the Dam. Wonderful times never to be seen again. [Post edited 1 Apr 2023 5:20]

I remember Mark Ring saying on the Radio that he couldn't understand the kids showing telling people where they are. He said when I used to go out I didnt want anybody to know where I was. I would imagine it was the same for most of us 🤣 in the 70's 80's and 90's.
