He’s done a tremendous job to be fair, in his 4 seasons as a manager he’s made the play offs three times and he’s kept Forest in the PL in their first season there.

The fact that Cooper is a capable coach has, as far as I'm aware, never been in doubt. Certainly his ability to get results out of the players under his control far exceeds Martin's by several magnitudes.
The problem with Cooper here is that watching the team play was excruciatingly and unnecessarily boring. He seemed to regard ambitous play with horror and anything other than sitting back and hoping Ayew could nick something (which he invariably did) as something to avoid. We were never going anywhere with him in charge.
He's taken an expensively assembled Forest team and just about scraped survival. Well done to him. Now he has to do it again next year. |  |

There's absolutely nothing boring about my post, the facts are that Chelsea spent over 600million in trying to buy a team capable of competing and crashed and burned spectacularly, Forest had a team of loanees that had to be replaced.
