I can see the likes of Cabango and Darling loving this type of attitude. The whole team need to embrace it and I’m certain we can return to the top flight. However, I remember when we first made it to the championship and being quite happy being there, and tbh being there now with the teams in the league as they are is going to be really intense. Can’t wait.

Did read somewhere that something like 17 of the 24 teams have played in the Premier.

Aye darling and cabango are defenders not ball playing midfielders, their first job is to defend, darling is good on the ball but he should concentrate on defending.

Many were caused by lack of sharpness with some players left for dead Duff will sort this out He seems practical and grounded and not up his own ring piece

First up, OHL, yes I was dreading the season with Martin here too. Joesus, I'm also with you. If we can find the right players and Duff is as good as his word (and his history suggests he will be) then we can expect a hugher tempo this coming season, both in attack and defence. it's a shame Piroe won't be here (or Obafemi0 to reap the rewards of the higher paced game. With Duff here, and all that I have been reading about him, I am feeling much more confident for the coming season.

You don’t need to be fit playing possession football. Let the opposition chase the ball and they’ll soon tire. Apparently!

Not to forget him not minding us losing as long as we stuck to his methods, rather lose his way than win another way. What craziness that was.

I don't think even Bobbley ever came out with anything that stupid.

The quote has been put on here a few times, I think Penc and Tref posted it. I'll accept it could be wrong or I just paraphrased but even if I am or have, I'm glad he's gone. I am just as glad Duff is here and I hope he lives up to all he says and the promise of quicker, more robust football.

I certainly recall a quote about him being not bothered if we lost as long as we played his way. Not sure if preference entered the equasion. In any case it was a dumb thing to say, especially as even two years into his tenure we looked a much better team the less "his way" we played.

There was some subline football played last season just not often enough. Under Sousa I never saw that.

Definitely maybe . I rarely leave the room during games though. At games I bother to go to,I never leave before the end either I’m hoping this season will be better for us ALL as I am heartily sick of the squabbling over who is a better fan than another . If somebody is on this forum, they are interested in our club and that s good enough for me
