It's a shame they aren't being supported by this govt. Still no testing for them.
Maybe just for a few minutes the population of this country can put other thoughts to one side and show solidarity with what people are doing day in day out for us.
As much as I love and respect the NHS this is a time for national unity and a national understanding that we are all on the front line.
If the supermarket staff weren't turning in, if the food supply chain broke, if the cleaners stopped everyhting would very soon turn too bad to contemplate.
We truly are all in this together. We all need each others support.

Obviously I shall be clapping at 8 though.
100% agree
They are the people when I posted "thanks to everyone doing their bit for us"

It's not political point scoring , if that's what you are alluding to
A lot out I'm my estate, fireworks as well..... Great community spirit.
My neighbour was out, he was hoping his wife who was due home anytime would arrive home as the clapping was going on..... She runs one of the hospitals in the area, unfortunately she didn't arrive in time.
The clapping will now go on every Thursday at 8pm...hopefully she gets to hear it as she is out all hours at present.
