The government should fund those who really need it first but the billionaires are lining up for public money. Posh Spice is just as bad.

I cannot stand that old bag. Of any person on this planet, her face is among the most slappable. She probably finds it difficult to differentiate between photo-shoots and real-life,

Even amongst the Spice girls she was always the least talented, and that says a lot.

Old bag? I think she's about 26. Did you mean someone else?

Correct. Collectively they sounded like a sty of screeching piglets.
| Branson on 16:22 - Apr 23 with 923 views | londonlisa2001 | It’s hard to know where to draw the line in helping companies with billionaire owners who pay no tax. Perhaps we could start by saying no public help for any one that has a space programme? Just a thought. There’s no part of Virgin that’s a British company. They’re partly owned in the US, partly in the BVI. Let them bail it out. At the same time, perhaps we can tell the president of the US to do one as well in bailing out his golf club. | | | |

His tax situation I've found interesting. I maybe stand corrected, but doesn't he dodge paying it in some shape or form.?

He lives in a tax haven and hasn’t paid tax in years according to every report.

Was it Germany recently who announced no help for non-dom tax exiles? Maybe not Germany, but it was somebody. I lose track of everything that's going on, but whoever it was it sounded like an excellent idea. If you've been using loopholes to avoid paying into the public purse you shouldn't expect handouts when times are hard. And the converse for ethically and morally sound businesses.

Germany and Denmark as well, I believe. We all have a duty to remember this though. All of us. Remember those businesses and people that have gone above and beyond, and boycott those that have taken the proverbial. I will never get on a Virgin flight again while he gains from that. I mean that.

Denmark was the one I heard of, thanks. I knew it was one of those Johnny Foreigner places Agreed on the latter. Nothing like a crisis to confirm who the good/bad guys are.

I took part in a yougov poll earlier, it asked if Covid-19 made you more likely to support smaller, local businesses, 84% said yes. So who is starting up Llwybrau anadlu Abertawe then?

| Branson on 22:48 - Apr 23 with 708 views | majorraglan | I kind of get why he’s asking for a bail out and a lot of his British employees will be hoping he gets it; my take on it is if you are a British company and you pay taxes in the UK then the Government (ultimately us) should consider the request, but if you are based overseas then look there for your help. Branson can go and get a loan from an investment bank. When this is over (or situation has improved) we should start to shop locally more often and when there is a choice we should support companies who pay their taxes here.
