Clearly measures are not working.
There is no sign of any common sense whatsoever.
New grotesque contracts are being negotiated at a time when millions face unemployment and the most difficult times ever. It is obscene.
Footballers are simply acting ,as many see them to be,terminally greedy and shallow.Ive never know so many people recoiling from sport at this moment .
No wonder when players see in the New Year getting ratarsed with players from other clubs totally ignoring any rules or common sense. Time to call a halt to this ,I think.
Plenty are dying as I write this,others seeing loved ones suffer and all the while businesses and shops are vanishing before our eyes. Yet we see such horrendous stupidity fuelling this virus.

I read Steve Bruce stating it is immoral to continue ,which is as I see things. Players,at this moment are working out as to how they can earn even more money when there is no gate money coming in . Disgusting.They won't be concerned about anything else apart from themselves.And they can't avoid hugging and kissing? Are they that lacking in self discipline. Plenty of "ordinary" folk have to cope with far greater issues.

I think sport is a microcosm of society at large. Most of them have behaved responsibly, followed the rules to the point and tried to do the right thing. Like society though there is a significant chunk which is probably a minority who are far too important to bother with any of that nonsense and will just carry on as normal with rampant sex parties or jetting off to some hot spot. |  |

I tend to agree with you mate, watching football at home has helped keep me sane (ish), it wasn't to bad the first lockdown, weather was generally good, with loads to do in the garden.

How many footballers have died? None and none will. Some will be quarenteed for a couple of weeks thats about it. Some may have some minor heallth issues later.
Swansea can go far in this competition with a full healthy squad. Every thing is stacked against Swansea but this is a bit of a leveller. Its an attritional test of the fittest amd most disciplined.
