Now Whittaker, a real prospect about to be turfed out.
We buy a young player,stick him on the bench to rot then eventually loan him out.

Swansea city have too many players in the 20-22 age group. These are the "good investment" signings all with room to develop.
Benda, Rushesha, Laird, Cooper, Cabango, Butler, Ollie Cooper, Williams, Garrick, Cullen Whittaker, Sub : Joseph.
All need 30 games plus to properly develop. For Russ to give them all this game time would be far too radical. It would be brave though. Benda, Laird, Cooper B. Cabango, Cullen and Joseph are the chosen 6 to cut their teeth in the championship by the looks of it.

Benda was with us last season. Swindon the season before, which was a good loan for him when he needed it. Would have been nice to get him more involved last season but in Cooper's defence Benda did pick up a couple of injuries around the cup games where he was going to play. | | | |

Cullen has the potential to play in League 2, and that is me being very generous.
He plays as a "poacher" who doesn't finish many of his chances and offers absolutely nothing anywhere else on the pitch.

Either will do. I'm not skilled enough to decide which is which. I'll leave that up to the manager the club believe is skilled enough.
