Which makes sense to me. He’s not competing with Cullen for the role neither of them are suited to. He’d be competing with Piroe and hopefully a new centre forward.
He’s better playing 30 games somewhere than getting the odd cameo here.

Agree completely. I think Walsh plays there, but even if he wasn’t injury prone, we’d need another. I think we also need a striker and a left sided Martin type wingback. If we don’t bring a striker in, we need to be hanging on to Whittaker. | | | |

His instistence in playing square pegs in round holes is stupid beyond belief and his insistence in playing the same non effective players while overlooking effective players is bordering on madness.
He seems to think that only passing, attacking football matters while also thinking he is improving our defence.
Which looks more like a colander.
Plus his substitutes are no more insightful than Coopers.

FFS he's been in charge for less than a month and he's playing square pegs in round holes because that's the squad he's been given, he will get players in he wants for his plan, get rid of players he doesn't want and loan players he rates but feels need gametime to get experience.

Not really I just hope to see some improvement in performance and results. Yesterday was a complete shambles. Improve the performance and I would probably accept a win, but if we carry on where we left off yesterday I will not be the only one complaining. The first two subs were enforced. Don't think Fulton had 90 minutes in him either. He said he wanted to keep faith with the players that beat Bristol where available, which makes sense. Whittaker would have come on with enough time for another hattrick had we not been limited to 3 changes this season.
Explanations for why we were poor are better for the players than coming out and ranting and raving, or saying our tactics are no good and we need to tear it all up and start again. Unless he avoids post-match interviews entirely I'm not sure what he's expected to do. | | | |
