The BBC completely ignore a weekend of football achievement 5th Apr 2022 13:00
It sometimes requires an explanation, that is the complete black out on reporting football news on Monday evenings prime time sports bulletin on BBC Wales. We know of at least thirty complaints that have been made as a result of this decision, but still the BBC are remain silent. 2

It is also a disgace that Call Rob Phillips is not available as a podcast on SOunds you end up with the Womens rugby...its a disgrace.....

Wouldnt have been a different story had the Bluebirds won I am sure!

I still can't understand why Radio Wales cut to the rugby midway through 2nd half.

Presume that was pre-planned so can't accuse bias against Swansea on that but a really odd decision based on the lack of coverage elsewhere.

If that was pre planned then I would suggest it was just that, bias.

OK I've changed it.

I've listened to it many times over the years, Paul from Neath, Claire from Cross Hands, some woman from Caerphilly etc, I will have to listen to this podcast thing (whatever that is), now I know it's on.

Continually being banned by Planet Swans for Porthcawl and then being reinstated.

Ann from Caerphilly features.

Dismayed with our style of play because we slowed things down at 2-0 taking over time over throw ins

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Not sure how old Anne from the cheese factory is but her knowledge on being 2-0 up in a derby has to refer back to 1988 for the last time Cardiff were 2-0 up in a derby game. In front of 2,900 😂

He does seem a fair and knowledge pundit although I've only heard him a handful of times.

BBC Wales has always been bis toward the rugby at the expense of football because of their own TV coverage with Scrum V etc. The women's rugby fulfils their remit of 'social inclusion' despite the fact that hardly anyone is interested in it compared to Cardiff v Swansea. The coverage was entirely unrelated to the result of the big match.

There is little or no point in moaning about capital city bias. Manchester and Birmingham do not go in for this as they are confident cities. Moaners will moan and find discrimination if they look hard enough. BBC has no football coverage and should have out bid ITV4 for next season and Quest for the last two seasons.

You believe they would have still said nothing had Cardiff won 4-0 and by seven goals over two games and making Welsh football history ?

OK I've changed it.

I doubt it and I do not care anyway. It is mainly a rugby station with a limited budget for football. Swansea fans need to stop playing the victim. It is not a good sight to see in my view. Fans putting on the record button on for 6am on a Sunday morning BBC Wales news is pathetic.
