First World Problems… 18:18 - Oct 4 with 2363 views

…that bug the life out of you.

Things that are fundamentally innocuous but annoy disproportionately.

Here are a few of mine:

People who say ‘clearly’ when saying something wh3n it’s anything but clear. I used to have a colleague who did this all the time. Never understood a word he said!

Toilet seats that won’t stay up on their own even though they’re designed for that WC.

And one that’s been mentioned on here a number of times - thier / their / they are; have / of; chomping / champing.

Anyone else as grumpy and petty as me?ðŸ˜

Drivers who don't indicate when exiting roundabouts.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

I was driving in the South of France last week Dr id suggest not driving out there if drivers who don't indicate irritates you.

2 from me

People who have to search their purse / wallet after being told the price at a till like its some kind of surprise that they were going to be asked to pay.

Drivers who are not ready to go when a light changes to green, again its as if they are surprised they are going to move (side note in France & Turkey they have a second count down on traffic lights which I think is a great idea).

and finally grumpy middle aged men

Swans tv buffering constantly. I’ve got a good PC and very fast internet. Nothing else ever buffers. But I pay a tenner to watch the game and nearly always end up abandoning it halfway through the first half and watching the game on some dodgy site which bombards me with pornographic pop ups every thirty seconds.

Yes Americanisms are very annoying. As are meaningless buzzwords. I’ve lost count of the amount of meetings I’ve had to sit through whilst some faceless drone in a suit goes on and on and on about “gaining traction”, “going slower to go faster”, “upping the ante” and other completely pointless and boring corporate bullshit.

Thankfully, that does not happen in criminal law. A lot of my advice has been along the lines of 'mate, you're screwed, you need to plead'.

people wasting food at buffets. Nothing worse than seeing people leaving a table and there is 4/5 plates stacked with food left.

Also when you see the state some people leave the floor around their table on holidays at hotel buffets. Bloody animals

Bad manners in general, but not saying thank you when someone holds a door open really grates me

Totally agree with the second one.

I had 10 years of answering peoples questions about something when all they needed to do was look at the website of the product I was acting for, mostly simple common sense things.
