Very rare for us to have snow being surrounded by water .
We had the lightest sprinkling following by rain then it froze.
No pavements or side roads are gritted and it is lethal.
Even walking a dog is dangerous a dog can pull away at something taking you with it.

For the same reason that they didn't mention that Australia had it's joint coldest December (start of their summer) morning.
It is also the same reason that they are not talking about the massive 2.5% contribution that Wind & Solar is making to our Electrical Generation when we need them the most.
It doesn't fit the narratives of Catastrophic Anthropogenic Global Warming (CAGW) or as they now call it the Climate emergency that will be fixed by spending more of our tax pounds on useless intermittent energy.
