Depends on if you take it seriously I suppose.
Not sure anyone of a sound mind believes he's unable to sleep dreaming of the liar that is Meghan Markle.
I see him as a boring braggart utterly in love with himself. He is nothing but disingenuous and hypocritical. He has lost his Top Gear baby and now makes a living from The Sun. My dear God.

That said, Meg and Hal are pretty odious
It’s Christmas
Each to their own I suppose.
I don't take him seriously but he obviously winds up the people he intends too & that's fine by me as they are normally left wing or liberal types.
He lost his 'Top Gear baby' & now makes a living from 'the Sun' not true as he signed a deal with a Amazon for 10 million a year.
Not bad work if you can get it.

First of all his comment belongs in exactly the same 'man-child' trash-bin as other equally immature individuals who smear non-racist's either with a direct racist label, or use the word 'gammon' as a substitute/euphemism word for it instead.
And don't people have double standards?... There are many pseudo-outraged Tweeting and opinionating their anger, but were silent about Jo Brands 'woman-child' joke about throwing battery acid at Nigel Farage.
So the gist is...... Joking about excreta and battery acid is deemed weak and immature to those with a more discerning 'grown-up' viewpoint.

To be paid £10 million is proof of that! Staggering money for a "talking head".
Most of the money he gets is from his rights to top gear which has been sold and is shown all around the world. It’s one of the most successful shows in bbc history.

Good timing to push his dvds and books sales for Christmas.

As long as it winds people up that i don't like. That's quite a defence for an abhorrent individual writing disgusting things in a quite frankly disgusting rag.

+ his Farm Show again on Amazon + his estimated 4 million annual salary , I don't suppose for one moment he's in the bit bothered . Not everyone's cup of tea but he'll do for me

On the flip side of the coin the ginger and the whinger have been paid a reported $100 million by Netflix for a series where they get to complain relentlessly about how hard their life is in their massive mansion in California, what a horrible bunch of bastards their family are and what a bunch of racists the British people are. They even had the cheek to complain in the middle of a cost of living crisis where people are facing eviction or can’t afford to eat or heat their homes that the free cottage they were given for free in the grounds of Kensington palace was far too small for them.
They have a free rein and a platform to criticise everything and everyone without any evidence but as soon as someone gives something back it’s completely unacceptable to the Twitter brigade.

I don't believe people take him seriously.
judging by his personal reaction to the reaction to his column, he doesn't even tale himself seriously. Which I would have thought was obvious after 20 years of evidence.
To be honest I find him a bit boring. He's the suns version of somebody trolling on here to try and get the view rates up. it's about generating interest, no publicity is bad publicity!

you missed the bit about them wanting an apology from the RF now
The guy's an utter berk. But he's a symptom, not the cause. The sooner the recalcitrant turds such as Murdoch, Barclay, Rothmere and Lebedev are metaphorically cut off below the knees by a full fat Leveson 2, the sooner the country can heal.

Poisonous rodents.
He’s playing to the audience of those moguls though, isn’t he.
I don’t know much about they royals because I’m not bothered, but he’s gone for a non-white, female foreigner. Manna from heaven for some.
I must have missed his Prince Andrew column…

Yes - another product of the English public school system. A system that says its a charity (not a business) ….. for tax breaks….?
One Solution …. Close them all down tomorrow. Burn them all to the ground over the weekend.
