How long does it take for 2 clubs to agree that a manager is changing clubs?
Have you honestly seen it take nearly a month before?
You can say, yeah Southampton are trying to screw us out of compo, ‘cause they were in The Prem when they approached RM, and his contract had 2 scenarios for compensation.
But imagine you were Chris Davies, and you were thinking of taking your first giant leap into management?
You are witnessing your prospective employers haggling over what, say a £500,000 difference ?
So meantime both clubs are in limbo as per incoming outgoing transfers.
No wonder he had second thoughts.
So then you have prospective future managerial candidates thinking, wtf is going on here?
You will be hard pressed to see a bigger shitshow, of how to run a football club than our owners.
My only hope is Nigel Morris’s involvement, overseas some sort of change going forwards.

It should be some,e but we make it hard.
Martin appears not to want to coach us preferring Soton.
Now, that makes his position untenable.
Therefore ,either ensure that he goes or he stays with us .
If he doesn’t want to stay then he can walk the plan l.
Compensation should be thalassotherapy thing we should be worried about seeing the now obvious revelation the process was nothing more than self promotion.
He should have been sacked six months ago.

Not really, look back at previous dealings' over their tenure and that speaks volumes, I'm sick to my back teeth of reading posts sticking up for these owners, they have little interest in the club actually moving forward, they're keeping the club financially healthy which is fine, but we keep getting sound bites about them saying that they have ambition to get us back to the premiership, its just soundbites, they aren't interested.

People need to stop pretending that Potter, Cooper and Martin have left or are leaving for any reason other than their own interests.
Roberto Martinez's useful idiots excused him for leaving by pretending that he'd have stayed if only the club had spent £1.5m on Gomez. It was obvious cobblers then and the same argument is obvious cobblers now. Nobody takes the job here without being well aware from the off what the situation is.
It's particularly crazy that there are people out there trying to claim that Martin hasn't been backed despite us transferring £2m to MK Dons for players he specifically demanded and sticking with him despite a run of form that would have seen him sacked anywhere else. | |
