What bad happened? A man has been sacked after winning the World cup. Why?
Yes, before I put the boot in on the fellow I want to see reasons. I do not simply jump on the bandwagon making the assumption that he must have done something seriously wrong. He may have simply been too demanding with team discipline taken from the man's game.
One poster on this thread has put the Greenwood news on this thread linking the two issues. Are they related?. I see no evidence of any relation. Greenwood was accused of some pretty serious crimes.
I see a male coach has pushed a group of women to winning the world cup. I do not expect them to thank him necessarily. They have now appointed a woman. A wise decision. Whether standards can be maintained remains to be seen. | |

15 players signed the email….3 retracted and made the World Cup Winning squad. 12 were left at home in Spain.

The trust has, over the years, done mamy things to benefit us fans. That's not to say they haven't been useless more recently or that they haven't made mistakes but then, so have many people involved with the club.
