10 million apparently of which we get 25%
This is good business for us but one has to reflect if there has ever been a young player worse treated .
This guy should have been given a longer contract and not dumped
Lazy, bad attitude ? Thomas the camel Frank will handle him .

In my working careers I spent a lot of time working with people I had no time for. They could do their jobs and that is all that mattered.

It is clear MW could have done a good job for Swansea. If Duff had fought to keep him he might still be in a job. MW was under contract. A charm offensive would have changed his mojo. Charm offensive was not Duff's style methinks

Morning Res
I feel real anger at this loss if a young player who clearly had ability.
Scoring a good goal against Man City might have been a clue.
Fact is ,it appeared a personal thing to perma bench him.
Quite shocking
No wonder he wanted to go

You can feel as much anger as you like, the facts are he was brought back to be sold and Martin was told not to play him. Horses mouth.

I don’t think this is a Duff issue. Damage had been done by then.

It’s a bizarre thought process that results in a player being brought back to be sold and then not putting him in the shop window where a few good performances would have increased his value.

They constantly remind us that they’re not football people.

can we start a rumour its 50%?

Just to get back at the green army for rubbing it in our faces 😂.

Thats duffs pay off and williams paid for anyway.

He will struggle in the premiership with brentford.

The striker that works for them is the toney type.

He is no where near mbeuno (spelling error)

but I said that when he signed for the green army.

Good luck to him.

That just displays the utter stupidity. The boy was cast aside by Russell Martin, nt given a fair crack but he went to Plymouth and they loved this boy with the bad attitude.

If it's true that he's being sold for 10 million, that's 10 million we could have had.

I think Rangers were showing interest at the time and obviously Plymouth. Plymouth knew what he was all about, I think they hoped for Plymouth to start the bidding but... well we know the rest.

And one could argue Martin has cost us 10 million .He had obvious potential and needed coaching and nurturing not dismissed and shunted out

Or he’d get injured, which is probably why he was not played.

You could argue that as long as the day is cold.
The facts are he made the club 12 million with Downes.

Whittaker was never going to replace Piroe.

Good excuse that mind, remember though Levien was pulling the strings then, mind you as much as he is now 😂

The Swans will land around 2 million pounds if Whittaker does go.

With his transfer fee that’s over 3 million.

nothing to do with Duff.

As Keith said he was brought back to sell.
Nothing Martin or Duff could do about that, whatever their thoughts about him as a player

Nothing to do with Martin.
Decision was made way above his pay grade
However you keep blaming Martin for all the football sins of the world.
IMHO Martin is proving his ability now at Southampton.
Some will never acknowledge it though

If he is sold then I fear for Plymouth. The Pilgrims are potentially quite a big club and deserve a run in the Championship, but letting a successful manager and leading goalscorer go doesn't augur well for the future. I am reminded of our own wishful thinking in selling proven quality and thinking the money will enable us to get the same or better to replace it. It is a gamble that usually fails for clubs with limited resources.

100% right mate, but they have to cash in on him, relegation would see a drop in his value.

Personally I think the loss of Shumacher is more crucial than the loss of Whittaker.
Nothing against the lad nor his ability or importance to Plymouth, however just feel the loss of the manager is bigger
