I really would not compare the two as there are only a small amount of countries that take the sport of Rugby seriously, it is South Africa's be all and end all and they have very few countries to compete against, Agentina on the other hand are up there with the best in the most competitive sport in the world played seriously by all of the world's countries, you only have to look at how the South Africans compete at Boxing and the UFC as 95% of the time they fail and are either knocked out or beaten up hense they get little success, i believe they have only managed to get one champion in the UFC which is where all the world's best fighters perform.
