Obviously Matos/the club dont see Monga as an option but even if that is the case do we really need someone else? Especially an aging free agent who probably hasn't kicked a ball in god knows how long. It will just end up being another Christie/Ward/Bolaise situation again.
Eom, Opoku, Yeo and Widell would be enough to take us to January where we can reassess. Maybe then we can send send Monga back and try and flog Ronald again and think about getting somebody else in. [Post edited 5 Oct 19:54]

I would say most of us are in disbelief. We've never had a manager whose team is in 1st place after 8 games and would point out to management/owners that there's a weakness that needs tweaking in the positional area you suggest and ask about dipping into the free agent market. I'm not the manager but, in my opinion only, the only immediate need MAY be a right-sided fullback/wingback if Key's injury is going to be a lengthy one. Again, can Ronald show any versatility here in the event that Lissah gets a fifth yellow? Can Welsh play in Key's position? What about Parente? Is he strictly a left-sided fullback? | | | |
