| Swansea City v Blackburn Rovers : Match Thread on 16:02 - Oct 25 with 2942 views | JJBomber | There's going to be a huge reaction. Swans will come out firing, with 20 attempted shots in a 3-0 win. Vigs will make a save and come out for a cross. Crowd will be 18,372. Most importantly, Guinness will be back at the bar! | | | |

We have the best squad in a long long time After reflection this week I think there will definitely be a positive reaction We have the players to do it and I think we will Mowbray is a crafty old fox but I think we have enough quality to get the result

Matos needs to get them attacking with more speed and purpose, fortunately I didn’t see yesterdays horror show, but against West Ham we were too slow in attack and took too many passes to get the ball in to the box, why pass it forward when you can pass it back 10 times and give the opposition time to get back in numbers!!!!! It really annoys me when they are playing the ball out in triangles out from the back that the players are so close together, it makes it much easier for the opposition to close someone down and regain the ball - moving in to space and away from danger - it isn’t rocket science. Last week, West Ham attacked at pace every time they picked up a loose ball in midfield and they took advantage to grab 3 points. I’m looking forward to a much better performance this week. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

It has slowly depreciated in aggression and commitment of late. The football has definitely slowed and one goal in three games doesn’t help. Get Stewart up front while he is fit !

firstly keith am sorry you and your family having problems with mindless idiots Agree re the positivity, but our last game was terrible and for me something was and could possibly still be wrong, i know not what but hope it is sorted before our next game which again is not an easy one( no easy games in this Div) we have the players injured apart and if we want to be up there come the end of season these are the games, like Q P R we must win. come on lads you can do it
| Swansea City v Blackburn Rovers : Match Thread on 09:30 - Oct 26 with 2318 views | onehunglow | Think some on here including me go over the rubicon on some topics on here and things get too personal and fractious at times However, what I’m reading here is far deeper and more malevolent I cannot simply fathom it out at all. Attacking posters families is simply ludicrous and deserving of punishment I hope punishment is indeed a coming | |

Agree 100%. Stewart deserves a start on Saturday, with hopefully Monga at last having the opportunity to show what he can do, why wasn't he on the bench on Saturday, given the two injuries to our wingers. I watched the Middlesbrough highlights from Fri and it was chalk and cheese from our performance from Saturday. When they were breaking, they had at least four or five players getting forward to support the attack. When we broke forward on Saturday , we generally had only one or two players at most supporting the break and outnumbered by QPR defenders.

We need a change, a we need our spark back Idah is erratic and Zan ,right now, a shadow of what he was last season. Stewart can and should take his chance Simply,we need to quit forking bout and passing for the sake of it We did this under Martin and should have learned where this takes us He’s doing it now at Leicester and they re not exactly on fire We can do this

For context, Middlesbrough drew with Cardiff at home last week. We may well be comparing their best performance of the season to our worst.
| Swansea City v Blackburn Rovers : Match Thread on 14:11 - Oct 26 with 2050 views | howenjack | I think if we are not careful we may be heading for premature burnout . 25 % of the season gone and there have been few team changes unless forced by injury. I think we need more squad rotation . It will take some of the strain off the regulars , reduce the likelihood of "overuse "injuries and freshen things up . It will also give much needed first team experience to those not getting it at the moment. We cannot hope to see the season out with the same old faces time after time and if nothing else it will add competition to team places . The team on Saturday looked drained of energy . | | | |

The only position we haven’t really got covered is Eustquios and I haven’t seen Iorpenda play so maybe he does that? I’m sure there will be plenty of rotation over the next couple of months. Gone are the days we had to rely on Cabango and Darling or Grimes and Fulton all season because we didn’t have real backup.

Some of these fring players who will be used in this player rotation need to get minutes in coming off the bench. I’m thinking of Iorpenda, Stewart and Monga in particular. They need to get up to speed before they are asked to step in for longer periods in a game.

| Swansea City v Blackburn Rovers : Match Thread on 20:20 - Oct 28 with 873 views | joserobertorene | Up to date with this great report! Without a doubt, the opposition will have plenty of key absences so it'll be interesting to see their game plan. I'm hoping we can win this match in convincing fashion, and Monga making his debut is what I'm most excited about. As for the contracts, I hope Key's situation gets sorted out without any issues—I think he's a good player who provides excellent squad depth. I'd love to start with this 11: Vigoroux; Lissah, Steel, Welsh, Tymon; Eustáquio, Franco; Eom, Monga, Opoku; Vipi. Aggressive and dynamic! | |

I think Blackburn will play like Wrexham and Birmingham did , let us have the ball in our own half and just put everyone behind the ball hoping to force us into a mistake around our own goal area or get caught with the ball and hit us with a sucker punch, it’s happened before and that won’t be lost on Tony Mowbray ,who is a canny old dog If we stop faffing about at goal kicks and stop the chuckle brothers “to me to you “ cack and the sideways and back boring stuff and just move the ball forward and wide at pace we can hurt anyone ,we just seem reluctant to do it for some reason ,very frustrating because we are capable of fast attacking football Zan up front for me and Stewart at some point, proper 9’s to link play and be a focal point, but we need to get the ball into their box quicker and please have a pop from outside the box now and again, instead of trying to thread passes through non existent gaps, keepers don’t always hold every shot they face and spillages create chances We can do this, without doubt COYS
