Russell Martin hasn’t turned down the Swansea managers job
at 09:13 31 Jul 2021

Shows we’re on the brink of employing someone who lies to his mates and misleads his own club’s fans.

I suppose he had to hedge his bets to be fair, and he’s not the first (Martinez, Rodgers, Potter). If he’s any good he’ll do the same to us soon enough, of course. Badge kissers and fist pumpers. Dicks.

Forest Green Rovers v Swansea City : 28th July 2021

I was thinking of nipping over to Stroud but decided against. Then I forgot about it and went for a run. I take it I made a wise decision? The Swans Twitter posts on the fist half looks scary.

Grimes and Wilson? Forgive me not shaking in my boots.

That could well be promotion chucked down the toilet with a 16m quid accompaniment.

Not poor players but that’s a Mid table midfield right there.

Electric Cars
at 15:01 27 Jul 2021

Indeed. The greenest thing you can do by a long long way is keep the car you have. The batteries in EVs are themselves unsustainable and no one talks about the cobalt mining nor battery disposal.

EVs do improve air quality in cities though, and that's the big deal in my view. So as city cars, perhaps on some sort of rental pooled scheme eventually, they certainly will have a place. This rush towards them is purely political posturing from lying politicians, and car company profiteering to sell replacement cars at high prices. They truly give not a single toss about the 'environment'. Well neither group actually.

I went the full hog for a rampant snorting V8 while I still had one last chance. I’m such a naughty boy. On the plus side I haven’t touched any meat since 2014 and the central heating is never above 16 degrees.

Oh, and I can’t afford to go very far in the car.

Elect a bunch of posh boy hooray henries, me first liars, an assorted coterie of acolytes and incompetents, and expect any sort of fair shake? Good luck with that.

As to Pencoed, pathetic and beneath contempt.

Plymouth Argyle v Swansea City : LIVE STREAM & AWAY FANS WELCOME
at 21:07 20 Jul 2021

Standard Cooperball tripe with 20 mins of much better stuff in the first half which gave us the two goals. Then the usual half paced crap and Benda saving the win with a one on one. Nobody stood out at all. Good goal from Whittaker.

One of the finest games I've ever seen was when we did them in an amazing attacking game up there in 1981. incredible stuff. Curt outshone everyone.

Great day that.

Video is wrong though. Didn’t need a point to go up. We needed a point and to beat Chesterfield and Swindon to lose. Three points would have made things a lot more comfortable.
