Your last point is exactly right. I love all of what Marti has done but one thing we haven't done very often is start aggressively at pace on the front foot - we've been a bit more controlled and coolheaded which I understand is one of the main Marti theses, but if ever there is a game to get up and at 'em in the first 10-20 mins, throwing men forward and rousing the fans, this is it. Beat them mentally and physically before they've settled.
Wishful thinking perhaps, but would love to see it...
