I see one of his back room staff is a Neil Critchley. Name is vaguely familiar.

Critchley was with O'Neil at Strasbourg. Critchley might not be much of a manager but he is highly regarded as a coach.

I felt a bit sorry for him here. Arrived at a horrendous moment. Might have been different had he got the gig in the summer. Seemed like a decent guy and his interview post FA Cup at Fleetwood was a rare recent example of somebody at QPR saying exactly what the supporters were thinking and wanted to hear.

Of course, which is why managers don't do it, but I was pleased he did and if any group of players ever needed calling out it was those wnkrs. They did the same to his replacement.

Which is kind of odd why he did it. Unless he already realised he was in a no win (quite literally) situation and just thought "fk it".

Doesn't anyone think it is strange that McKenna quits, citing wanting to share time with his family, but all of his backroom staff are replaced too?? | | | | Login to get fewer ads

This was the reason Ipswich fans expected Solskjær expected to be appointed, as he had worked with all the coaches at United.

And the demise of WBA keeps going. Think this club bounced around the prem and champ, like a yoyo. Massive monies spent over the years and worse stats to show for it.

Surely we are only gazumped if we lost out to Bristol City having had our offers previously accepted.?Even though both look like good signings I haven’t seen anywhere that we wanted to sign them. There are dozens of decent mid-fielders out there and we don’t need a keeper. I am more pleased that we have moved quickly to address the LB problem

Myke, you must be in a small minority who think we don't need a keeper. In my book, a new keeper is a priority.

It's about time Burnley became mid-table Championship fodder again. Seeing them sweep the Championship knowing they would be back down again the following season was getting really tedious.
