I've found it hard to weigh up his potential, and I don't want to get carried away but I thought his touch was good today, particluarly to beat the first man in the lead up to Paal's goal, then a nice run, slowed it down, atouch with either foot keeping it away from the next man and the composure for and the weight on the pass to Paal was sublime.

His compusure for his assist was superb. He weighed up his options and took the right one. It’s been lacking and if he gets that right we could have a player on his hands. Delighted for the kid though.

Like everyone delighted for him, he is so exciting and I've thought so from the first time I saw him, a really likeable and charming lad as well. He's been guilty of trying too hard in the past but having seen some of the videos of his goals in the B team and on loan, he is very skilful as well and a good finisher. If he can stay fit and find the right mindset he can play at the top level.

We could have done without his knee slide there numptydumpty but he was fired up.Shame he was in front of the home end not ours .Love the way he ran towards our fans after his assist to KP while the scorer ran the other way .
Seemed a bit slimmer today maybe its the away shirt but cramping up is a bit of a worry.
Cannot wait for his first goal at LF lets hope is in the next few days | | | |

As I said on another thread the improvements in his all round play, holding the ball up, laying it off intelligently when well covered by defenders, and most of all the composure he showed in the box especially for Paal's goal were a huge improvement on last season. Both Sinclair and whoever has been coaching him this summer deserve huge credit. Ideally we should offer him a new and well extended contract for FFP soonest. It's possible we have another Sir Les (player wise) on our hands. | | | |

Exactly. I know by all accounts his agent has overblown hopes, but here is someone we need to take a punt on surely. It may be unlikely, but not impossible he turns into a very valuable asset. So we need to nail him down on a proper contract, quick smart. | | | |

Previously, he has probably tried to hard, which resulted in a lack of awareness and composure and often the touch of an elephant.
Today, it looked as if he had been watching the Lionesses with their often delicate weight of pass and dribbling ability.
