First goal for Sinclair 21:25 - Aug 12 with 4883 views | numptydumpty | Could be a significant moment in the season Think it's great he haa scored in the league this early Must be a massive weight lifted Now to get his first at Mecca !!! Needs work on his stamina and potentially be more selective when he makes his terrifying bustles towards opposition players in possession., so he can hopefully occasionally last out the entire match. But fabulous to see Top man Potential cult hero in the making !!

First goal for Sinclair on 22:14 - Aug 12 with 3990 views | BrianMcCarthy | I've found it hard to weigh up his potential, and I don't want to get carried away but I thought his touch was good today, particluarly to beat the first man in the lead up to Paal's goal, then a nice run, slowed it down, atouch with either foot keeping it away from the next man and the composure for and the weight on the pass to Paal was sublime. Very impressive.

First goal for Sinclair on 22:16 - Aug 12 with 3984 views | Paddyhoops | His compusure for his assist was superb. He weighed up his options and took the right one. It’s been lacking and if he gets that right we could have a player on his hands. Delighted for the kid though. Delighted for everyone involved today . It’s a massive lift for the club.

He's only under contract until the end of the season with an extra year option, but we know what a waste of time that is.

Tremendous work from Smyth there, took advantage of the defender's lapse in concentration.

How big is he going to be when he stops growing? Norman Whiteside seemed to have problems carrying such a big body around, hopefully Sinclair can manage things well | | | | Login to get fewer ads
First goal for Sinclair on 23:32 - Aug 12 with 3623 views | QPR_Jim | Really pleased for him, he seemed to be owed a goal by now for the performances he's put in, so delighted he's actually got it. Hopefully it will be the first of many.
First goal for Sinclair on 23:38 - Aug 12 with 3576 views | baz_qpr | Like everyone delighted for him, he is so exciting and I've thought so from the first time I saw him, a really likeable and charming lad as well. He's been guilty of trying too hard in the past but having seen some of the videos of his goals in the B team and on loan, he is very skilful as well and a good finisher. If he can stay fit and find the right mindset he can play at the top level. Need to get that new long term contract under his nose

First goal for Sinclair on 00:35 - Aug 13 with 3422 views | numptydumpty | He certainly is a beast and like all unconventional heroes mad as a box of frogs. His celebrations are almost as scary as his powerful sprints. Would not have been out of place on the wing at Twickenham rugby ground today either. I am the only one who finds his soft Irish dialect at odds with the character. Star boy...

We could have done without his knee slide there numptydumpty but he was fired up.Shame he was in front of the home end not ours .Love the way he ran towards our fans after his assist to KP while the scorer ran the other way . Seemed a bit slimmer today maybe its the away shirt but cramping up is a bit of a worry. Cannot wait for his first goal at LF lets hope is in the next few days
First goal for Sinclair on 01:40 - Aug 13 with 3290 views | Hoopsie | His contract ends next summer, maybe a year option, but surely the club should do something more to avoid a BOS or Manning or Dickie or Dieng or Willock…..

As I said on another thread the improvements in his all round play, holding the ball up, laying it off intelligently when well covered by defenders, and most of all the composure he showed in the box especially for Paal's goal were a huge improvement on last season. Both Sinclair and whoever has been coaching him this summer deserve huge credit. Ideally we should offer him a new and well extended contract for FFP soonest. It's possible we have another Sir Les (player wise) on our hands.

He also seemed to be carrying a little less bulk than last season, which is perhaps partly why he lasted a bit longer.
First goal for Sinclair on 09:27 - Aug 13 with 2667 views | Kensal_Ranger | While I was also delighted for Armstrong and Smyth, it's got me wondering, when was it we could last boast of a goal both scored and assisted by Irishmen? Would have to go back a bit, wouldn't we?

21 July 2018 - A 2-2 preseason friendly against Hoffenheim. QPR goalscorers that day were Ryan Manning and Toni Leinster.

Exactly. I know by all accounts his agent has overblown hopes, but here is someone we need to take a punt on surely. It may be unlikely, but not impossible he turns into a very valuable asset. So we need to nail him down on a proper contract, quick smart.

A knee slide like that on the pitches that I used to play on would have, almost certainly, delivered a stone into a knee.
First goal for Sinclair on 10:18 - Aug 13 with 2444 views | kernowhoop | Armstrong looks like a rugby player. His colleague up front is a former rugby league player. We should work out how to make sure that no defenders feel safe with those two around.
First goal for Sinclair on 10:39 - Aug 13 with 2354 views | francisbowles | Sinclair was a different player today. Previously, he has probably tried to hard, which resulted in a lack of awareness and composure and often the touch of an elephant. Today, it looked as if he had been watching the Lionesses with their often delicate weight of pass and dribbling ability. Now I can see past the athlete in football boots and what the real potential is.
First goal for Sinclair on 11:27 - Aug 13 with 2247 views | Paddyhoops | Armstrong is rapid but have a look at Smyths assist. His acceleration over those first five yards was something else. We’ve lacked pace in recent years and these two are huge plus going forward.
