Been working from home last couple of days which works really well for me.

Retired, but I miss that last day at work before Christmas in a masochistic kind of way. Totally pissed off filing paper lips all morning and answering the odd stupid phone call "are you open on Sunday ? I'm afraid not (you dumb knob) " but then comes the magic moment and you're all in the pub in 10 seconds flat and it's mayhem.

Always a busy time of year in the shellfish trade and usually work just about everyday except Xmas day itself with an early start and long hard day on Boxing Day. This year Storm Barbara has come and basically shut us down! No ferries guaranteed so we're going to work 27th & 28th, going to have a relaxing few days with poweruts the only slight concern.
Hope everyone has a good time, cheers and bottoms up!!

I know you think 'karl' and 'distortR' are the same person Fred but there are posters on here who have met us both at the same time. WestBerksR and Ted were even kind enough to get us both tickets for the playoff final, although having gained a few pounds in later life i haven't taken to using two seats yet!
There is the small matter that i don't want to be DistortR and although jealous of my love of country and western music i think he feels the same about me!
