For me, sadly, can't see this being any other than a regulation defeat up North. Wouldn't have the temerity to call it a bonus game/'free hit' (@H Redknapp) but none can deny that the pressure is somewhat off in these types of games this season.

No defenders on the bench at all? What, are Hamalainen, Phillips or even Paul not available? I know I'm not employed for my footballing nous but Wszolek and Samuel seem a bit similar to me and neither would be any use at CB.
Interesting to see how Wheeler gets on. He has played RWB and having him and Furlong on the same side might be a good combination.

I guess if we get another cb injury, Furlong or Bidwell could move there and Wheeler or Mackie or Manning could move to fb/wb. Another alternative would be Smith to cb. | | | |
