Excellent news once the offer of a training facility with freehold became available it was a no brainer. Interesting that there has been no advertising about the club wanting to raise funds for the purchase, can we assume that the owners have again used their own funds for the purchase.

All the old social club facilities etc make the Concorde Club a bit higgeldy piggeldy.
Sure our architects brief will be to get it up and running as soon as possible, but ongoing upgrades to bring it to state of the art, as quickly as planning allows. |  | | |

That is an interesting point. WF was going to be a Cat B academy otherwise they would have had to build dormitories etc. for Cat A status. As there is already an educational facility located nearby to the Heston site they may consider it worthwhile to build the dormitories as part of the refurbishment and go for Cat A status. That would mean it would be easier to attract players and we would get better recompense if any got nabbed by other teams. |  |
