How much more help can they be given?

What if they don't have enough players or will they cobble together some kind of starting XI and subs from kids and just get beaten 5-0 every game? makes a mockery of the competition.

EFL, despite their ex derby member, should have cut them loose.

How long can a company be in receivership?

If its in receivership, how can they after this long, try to get a financial loan just to be able to sell tickets?

WTF?

I also wonder if there's conflict with the Administrators who deal with the football clubs... Don't they get paid more the longer it goes on? If so, where's the incentive for a quick resolution.

The biggest problem is if they start the season playing youth players and Fred from the corner shop how fair is it to the teams they play later in the season if they get taken over and sign new (uncontracted players). A totally disjointed season for all League 1 teams. Maybe they should all get together and take legal action against Derby

This happened with Bolton a few years ago didnt it? They had to play 16/17 year old scholars for the first couple of months in League One, got absolutely wallopped every time, then had a takeover and signed a new squad.

They still went down, but obviously the teams who got to play them early on and get a thumping win were given a huge advantage over those who had to play them with a normal squad of pros.

Today the sideshow continues....
Ground sold?
Big money put into the basket case?
debtors paid? (here's a big clue.........NO!)
2 bidders wanting to buy the club.....

Next week on 'Soap'!

https://www.derbytelegraph.co.uk/all-about/derby-county

Am currently th8nking on how HMRC are gonna bite them, how Wycombe will bite them, how buying a stadium for 20mil will really bite them and how the EFL will need to re-write the rules to make what Derby have done, legit! Corrupt and useless? nah, i'd never say that.

A property developer buys the stadium hmmmm

Now Morris has gone they have a chance again, but be wary as even if they are saved, years down the line they may find themselves like Cov, playing somewhere else while the ground is bulldozed for an Ikea (as they don't have one in Derby).

zzzzzzzzzz

They have had their fixtures, presumably it is too late to kick them out and add someone else in so does that mean they have two options, a Luton or a Bury?

I predict a particularly convivial atmosphere at Adams Park on 11th February.

Other adjectives are available.

"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."

Local fella apparently, net worth of about £250m. Which means unless he's going to find further investors, he'll be skint by Christmas.

Pride park will cost him almost 1/3 of his wealth if he has to pay the market value of £80 million for it.Or will he pay the proper price?

Who remembers Marc Goldberg taking over Palace from Ron Noades? This reminds me quote a lot of that.

Different in Goldberg didn't buy the ground or training ground though.

Quantanama's Derby County and Pride Park remain two separate entities.
Still quote a concern, especially as PP now owned by a Property Developer.

I'm interested to see what HMRC, Arsenal, St Johns Ambulance (paid by the fans I know... I know..) will get paid in the pound. Also, the claim from Wycombe is still rumbling isn't it? I saw somewhere that after all fees and 25p in the pound settled at for footy creditors the whole change of ownership would be circa £80Mill.
That leaves Clowes (who many QDC fans are already referring to as Clownes) a paper wealth of £170Mill. Now the mind boggles at having personal wealth of that level BUT... QDC's wages bills when fully staffed, running costs etc per season will be massive. Soon burn through that.
Having said that.. they could make a go of it "Bill Power Style". We did it back in the day on much lower crowds than they will get. They will get a good influx of ST money front end, lots of goodwill and scandalously will avoid any further points deductions despite other matters they got away with now being publicly confirmed.
I see them being one of the favourites in Lge One but will probably struggle front end as with 4 weeks to go they have no squad and amazingly no manager (at least we had Ollie ready to add to the squad and with a plan). They will kick on back nine and make it back.... on Sky lots aswell I'd hope.

Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal

The Clowes family have been property developers around Derby for years.
David Clowes has bought the ground, arranged a loan to tide them over.

All they need now is a manager and 18 extra players.

Clowes has lent, given, whatever, £60m in some shares issue thingy.

Amazing how that deadline kept shifting for a big club like this in a way it didn't for Bury, Macclesfield etc isn't it?

It seems the stadium has been bought by Clowes off the puppet man for £23million but I believe that a charge remains on the ground by some American company called MSD. Which I believe to be £20million + . Clowes lending funds to cover Derby for the next couple of months sounds to me that he isn’t interested in buying them. And until someone actually buys the club there ain’t going to be any signings. Pre-season should be a giggle
