They’ve just signed James Collins, think they’re taking the piss now.

Collins did sweet FA at Cardiff over the last two years and is over 30. No future value. To me they are getting players to shore up the possibility of another drop but certainly ain’t looking at young players with a bit of future potential. The owner isn’t overly flush so will be limited to what he spends.

I believe they have a salary cap and arent allowed to pay more than 4500 per week.

...and the rest paid by an agent.

An owners worth is no longer valid as clubs have to comply with FFP within their own revenue ability.
The owner could, for example, pay whatever they like for training facilities as I believe that doesn't fall under FFP rules but player acquisitions do.

Derby averaged 23k attendance last season, if they can get near that this coming season that will give them the scope to probably out do their opponents in the transfer market.
January will be key depending on where they are in the table and what income they got in the first half of the season.

If that was to happen then the shît really would hit the fan with the EFL.

The transfer activity they've done should dismay their fans. It's like they learned nothing at all from the whole thing.

It won't dismay their fans.

They will be creating 'David Clowes has the EFL on strings' memes in no time.

Is it just that they haven't got time to plan for they future yet, they are so desperate for anyone who is prepared to come in within their 'business plan' budget as they need to get a team sorted out for two weeks time?

Their latest two signings are Scott Loach, keeper aged 34 and has played in the conference for the last seven years and has had 22 clubs and a kid released from Citeh’s academy. With this signing tye average age of the players they have brought in which I believe is 9 is just under 30.

Thanks m watching a documentary on Al Jazeera, about shady dealings in the sale of football clubs.

Derby are the club that is the subject of bogus buyers who should fail the fit and proper person test. Well worth watching if you find on their website.

Nothing that won’t surprise but which will be sad watching nonetheless.
