Robin Reliant - Del-Boy, Batman or Dickie? - The Bristol Vs QPR Match Thread 20:50 - Feb 15 with 41266 viewsSpaceman_P

After the Match Thread request came my way. I am taking one for the team.

Very hard to be optimistic after yesterday.

But we've got this. 1 nil us. Marti will be giving them a right bolloxing today and tomorrow and thus, they will want to at least do something to make it up to him.

I think some of team will also not want Dickie having bragging rights.

SO...

Frey second-half header into the back of the home crowd net.... psycho celebration to top it off.

BUM-CHEEKS firmly together, but FREY will lead us to victory.

That goal was what Marti has been asking for since he came - win the ball, move it quickly and commit men forward and you profit from it.

Football is a lot less difficult than we tend to make it.

Anderson has two assists already: doesn’t mess around with the ball, just looks to put in a quality cross into the area.

The smugness of the Bristol commentary team really made that Chair goal all the more enjoyable. Had to look up their league position (currently 12th) at one point as they kept referring to the top 6 and playoffs!

We've actually played well first half, keeping possession well and hitting Brizzle long once they've come further onto us to try and win the ball back. Please don't revert to type in the second half Rangers!!

From Willock’s pass to his cross, Anderson kept his head up without looking down once. Picked his man. Classy.

Good point it showed his class always looking to pull it back trusting his skill to control the pass to Chair. Miultiple times that ball is blasted blindly across by us this season resulting in nothing but this was excellent.
Fair play to Willock he is trying and Hayden superb tackle also.
However those few minutes of first half stoppage time is our mental weakness this season. We nearly gave it up again except for Cook so not much has changed .
Dykes is horrible another player going down the Dickie route it wont be long until Frey or Armstromg appear anf Hodge of course to calm things down in possession

“That’s a fantastic interception by Willock..”

“Great defensive work by Chris…”

Wait, what?

Field was right there to poke in a rebound. WTF are we watching?

Field and Dunne needlessly giving the ball away in quick succession and not on the same wave length as the quick smooth passing between Hayden, Anderson, Chair and Willock.

Best I’ve seen Willock play in a while. He’s moving nicely and looks strong.

Dunne just beat his man on the right, Willock look’s like himself of old, Field is within 2 yards of the goalie, we look threatening. I don’t get us

We’re a different team when get in-front. The minute we face any adversity the players seem to lose confidence and revert to type.
