"Walking in a Mackie Wonderland"
Poll: Main Reason you started following QPR ??

Personally, I find it peculiarly annoying to have arrivistes like JS and Nourry coming in and effectively renaming our cave in away that just sounds stupid, and then the likes of Edwards following suit. Is nothing sacred?

(Answer - not in football, obviously.)

Poll: A little over halfway through the season, where do you see us finishing?

Clearly not. Everyone knows it’s ‘Matrade’ Loftus.

I'm pretty sure Ronnie started it.

Stupid handsome Ronnie.

Poll: How old is everyone on here?

In the same way as I'm appalled at the ground being called "Loftus", I'm in a minority (perhaps of one) at the club being referred to as QPR!

When I started following the club almost everyone called us Queens Park Rangers or Rangers. You were going down The Bush or going down the Rangers, never going down to QPR.

It was the 1967 League Cup Final that introduced this abomination when The Football League adverised it as "The Alphabet Final". I've used the initials in songs/chants etc, but I'd be surprised if you found any post from me using them. Apart from to moan about them being used!

Same here, Terry.

I've always called us 'Rangers'.

Might as well call it Road - and become Road Men.

Wagwan.

Those possessed by devils, try and keep them under control a bit, can't you ?

I had a dog called Loftus.

There was a Victorian author named George Loftus-Tottenham, I kid ye not.
I wonder who he supported ?

They do this a lot in Brazil.. and it annoys the hell out of me. Whenever we get QPR on the TV with Brazilian coms here, they refer to us as Queens, which really riles me.

Ahhggg
So "Loftus" is a big no for me..

It always reminds my of Lofty Holloway off Eastenders. A character with two QPR references in his name.

Never knowingly right.

Don’t forget Wiksy. Another reference.

By the way - Loftus can do one in my house.

I wouldn't use it myself but thought he was genuine in his affection, which was the main thing.
