Onto a team that wins away from home every now and again perhaps? |
It’s just that I have a completely unadorned blue and white hooped shirt from the 70’s (no badge, maker’s logo, number on the back, nothing).
With knowledge gained many decades ago from a brief spell in the Cub Scouts, I reckon I’d be able to sew a club badge, should they be available, onto one of the uppermost hoops (whether it’s a blue one or a white would be a decision to be taken further down the road and one that I wouldn’t want to rush) so I think that means the answer to your question is probably ‘no’, Northern! | | | |

Blimey, you've triggered me there, Rhondda.
That was my first QPR replica kit. I was obviously very small back then and soon outgrew it.
It henceforth lived, cherished in the top draw of the set next to my bed for many years until...........
One day it disappeared. Apparently, my mum threw it out, without consulting me, because 'that old thing doesn't fit you any more'.
Never forgave her for that!  |

I've kept every QPR shirt I've ever had since i was a teenager, neatly folded in my wardrobe. A few of them still fit but not all.
I think my son has all his too although some are probably crumpled up somewhere. He does generally wear his around the house a lot.
Currently not planning on buying any of the new shirts although I quite like a couple of the keeper shirts. [Post edited 23 Jun 15:30]

Just got a response from supporter services saying they are still taking orders for sponsor free shirts daily so haven’t requested from Errea yet as will be one order. Have to say they are extremely quick to reply and pleasant. Does make you wonder if a number of us turn up without MrQ on our shirts will the sponsors know or react? | | | |

Remember getting a home shirt, no badge in the early-mid 70’s from Ron Springetts sports shop on the corner of Percy Road. Also used to get the orange Wembley footballs. Plastic and were very susceptible to rose bushes!! Punctures repaired by heating up a metal skewer and then melting some of the plastic over the offending hole! | |
