We didn't have a great record at Ewood but we have won 2 of the last 3. In the competitive games this season we have played well, without necessarily getting the results. Blackburn, despite being widely tipped for a relegation fight, have had 2 good results against expected challengers. I really wouldn't like to call this either way, so I'm going to plump for the draw.

I really hope this is a 4-4-2 and not a 4-3-3. Ive not been convinced on burrell out wide yet. Strong side overall though, Cirkin starting suggests he kept his fitness up whilst a free agent.

I'd say 442 when out of possession 424 when in it. VERY attacking team for an away match. JS going for it. I like that
I like the team. I'd like to see Smyth and Burrell running beyond Kone, with Chair, Madsen relatively central in front of Edwards, and Cirkin and Mbengue given license to get wide when attacking.

Burrell's been a bit shown up technically when playing out wide so far. Potential for getting on the end of through balls inside his fullback but when he gets the ball out wide faced up it's a bit of a challenge for him.
Looking forward to the football Edwards, Madsen and Chair can play through the middle if they keep up the positive, quick passing mindset we've seen so far this season. Probably easier said than done against a hard working, well prepared Mowbray team. Good test this.

When you look at this team and bench compared with say the previous 10 years it shows we look stronger all over the park for quite sometime. Let's hope we turn up today, play well and get a result U R's
If it's a 442 formation, then it looks like a great starting 11. I think Kone and Burrell both do better when they aren't alone up front. They complement each others' strengths
Excited Cirkin is starting, he looked great based on his time last game.
Don't mind us trying Edwards and Madsen together on a 442, not really sure about it if 5 across the middle. But Cirkin, JCS, Dunne, MBengue with Edwards and Madsen ahead of them feels solid, and Smyth and Chair work hard also. Interesting..
