Off topic but many years ago the Swindon Town announcer got into trouble when he announced the Bristol City winger as:
'... Number 11 - Junior Bent. I bet he is...'
Entire County Ground pissing themselves laughing. Next day, he is in the paper having to apologise to Junior Bent and the whole Bent family. Entire population of Swindon continues to piss themselves laughing but for a different reason.
Anyway, Harry Redknapp always comes across as more bent than Junior ever did. I wish QPR had never heard of the bloke. And most of his signings. And his bloody dog. And jam fcking roly fcking poly.

Always has been a total fraud. I used to photograph West Ham training on a Friday for the Saturday editions, without fail he would come out when the snappers were ready and shout where do we want me”, he would then point shout and blow his whistle close to the player that the tabloids were focused on and then go in. The journalists loved Arry because he was good for a quote which he worked on, the sappers loved Arry because he was more than happy to look ridiculous especially if he was being paid.
I despise the man, total fraud never a coach, manufactured mockney and friend of Talksport!

It was a long lonely walk down the Seven Sisters Road after the final whistle.

Day after the PO win, I posted on the dot.org: get rid of HR now! My main reason was: he'll just raid the Rothman's 2006/7 yearbook and sure enough, Rio turned up.
I thought the way we limped over the line having been ahead for the first few months of the season, was concern enough. HR's response in the TW was rubbish and in the end, we got up despite him, not because of him.
Took pelters for it until they way HR left us and on spurious grounds of dodgy knees. Bloke's a total wrong 'un in my book and married to that prat, TF, the next 12 years of our life and counting has been spent, and continues to be spent, trying to make amends.
Two blokes who shouldn't be allowed to run a bath, much less a football club.
SWP was here under Hughes too though. He hardly pulled up any trees then, did he? I do think it's easy for ex-players to go on podcasts and blame others for their own shortcomings.

We relied so heavily on Austin that once he got injured mid season we were fked and went from 2nd to 5th and limped over the line. Clint Hill had a better idea of what needed to be done in the PO Final that the actual Manager.
Even though the extraordinary win was great and will be etched in everyone’s memory forever, you just knew we’d pay for it the next season in the way you mentioned with mercenary over the hill players.
It was obvious Zamora was going to get a new 1 year contract for that goal but IMO he owed us that after years of pocketing millions with very little in return, we didn’t owe him.
I was at that Spurs game too and it was a shambles and ‘arry sucking up to the Spurs fans….. just fk off.

Redknapp moaned to the press at Adel's lack of fitness when coming back overweight for pre season and saying " he is not ready to be involved at this level, coming back like that.
Warnock meanwhile knew Taraabt could win us the game with moments of brilliance. An arm round the shoulder if he was late and just said to him, you dont come to training on Thursday and you play Saturday and you win us the game, which he invariably did.
The sort of person for me that if you cross him once, he remembers it forevermore.
I have heard the stories about him and SWP, who yes SWP wasn't totally innocent in all that, but if you are the manager, you simply do not completely freeze out players who on their day could be elite. SWP had a long contract and it could have been possible to motivate his player, but he chose to go down the "you've p*ssed me off, now I will do the same to you."
Terrible man manager despite cultivating a public image of being exactly that.
