As already said 4 goals in 31 appearances (mostly from the bench as even Brizzle doesn't rate him a start)
For the same money, we got Burrell, who has made 26 appearances (including some from the bench) and scored 10 goals.
Armstrong will get another few starts toward that goal last night, but I suspect he won't even get 8 goals by the end of the season, so Burrell, for the same money, has already beaten him, and that's if he doesn't play another match this season.
Armstrong and Kelman for Burrell and Kone is great business.

I don't think its a secret, but when we buy a player the reported money will be cheapest deal for the club, when we sell a player the reported fee will be the highest one.
So, Armstrong could have been £2.5m if he had scored X goals, won X international caps, gone to the moon, married Heidi Klum etc..
Getting any money for a player is a big step on from paying up their contracts so they can leave, which is what we used to do |  | | |

I live in the area and the B.City fanbase are generally hugely frustrated with him, glimpses of potential but concern is lack of football ability is the feedback I get.

If we'd got him a loan early in his career so he could have playted a full season in league one or two I think he could have really become a good player. His career is mostly limited to the odd start and mostly 20 mins off the bench so he's never really developed.

I always liked Sinclair, especially because of his exploits for us (Ireland) in his younger days and I was sorry when we sold him. However, nobody could say he has kicked on since he left us and is pretty much at the same level he was 2-3 years ago. That said, I’m pleased to see him bang in the odd goal or two. | | | |

I think one issue was he’d only sign for short extensions on his contract. So if you are paying someone for eighteen months you don’t want to invest six months of that with them on loan.
I think he wasn’t really ever willing to commit to us so it was a good deal to sell him. |  | | |

Absolutely has the technical and physical ability to succeed at our level - deserved MOTM against Italy's Under-21's ( I know I've referenced it before, but there's no messing with that).
But the question for him maybe was whether he could produce that ability consistently, or even semi-consistently. He didn't for us. He always seemed overwrought to me. If he solves that, or can be helped to solve that, then you've opened up a good career.
I can see why we signed him.
I can see why we sold him.

He is not clinical enough at this level.
He may well get a wonder strike now and again, but most of the time, his control, nouse and movement is not good enough and absolutely his consistent form or lack of, is simply not there often enough.
We did well out of the deal.
